The Kalama Tourism Advisory Committee will be accepting applications for 2025 from September 1-30, 2024 at 5:00pm. The Kalama Tourism Advisory Committee (KTAC)
The Kalama Tourism Advisory Committee (KTAC) consists of 7 members. These members are appointed for one-year terms. The Council will review membership on an annual basis and make changes as appropriate.
2.58.020 - Membership: (from the Kalama Municipal Code)
A. The KTAC shall be comprised of seven voting members to be appointed by the mayor and city council as follows:
1. One member shall be an elected official of the city who shall serve as chair,
2. Two members shall be representatives of businesses required to collect the lodging tax,
3. Two members shall be persons involved in activities authorized to be funded by revenue received from the lodging tax,
4. One member shall be a local (98625) business owner, and
5. One member shall be a citizen at large.
This committee meets at least 2 times per year to review applications:
- 2nd Wednesday of October
- 2nd Wednesday of April
