The Kalama Community Building is an all-occasion meeting place. People from the community and out of town have used this facility for school dances, weddings, graduation parties, banquets, baby showers, retirement parties and baptisms. The Community Building was used as a temporary Kalama City Hall after the flood of 1996 and after the most recent flood in December 2015.

You will find the  rental rates are very reasonable. Click here to view the calendar of available dates. Please note, although the calendar is updated periodically, please check with staff at 360-762-7690, or email cityhall@cityofkalama.com to ensure the date you are interested in is available.

Rental spaces:

• Main Ballroom
• Commercial Kitchen, which features a convection oven, large capacity freezer, and dish washing facilities
• Fireside Room is a great place to hold smaller meetings or events 

For summer events, please note: The building does not have air conditioning, so please plan accordingly.
