This annual day of loving our town is held in honor of the late Shirley Lowman, who tirelessly worked to beautify Kalama for many years. She was a talented gardener and planted hundreds of bulbs along the sidewalks downtown. Shirley also enjoyed putting out charming holiday decorations for each season.
Interested volunteers should meet at the Kalama Post Office with some basic yard tools, gloves, water and sunscreen at 9am.
Groups will disburse from there and work throughout the day! We appreciate our volunteers!
