PUBLIC WORKS TECHNICIAN
Employment to begin 2/2/2015
Performs many types of unskilled work including: driving, digging, mowing, sweeping, traffic flagging, painting, ladder-climbing, pipe repairing, installing water meters, street paving, carrying up to 80 pounds, etc. The employee will be expected to perform skilled tasks such as operating water/sewer treatment facilities. Qualified applicant will have a high school diploma or GED, good people skills, be a team player, have a valid Washington State driver’s license. The applicant will be expected to obtain a CDL Class B with air brake certification, First Aid/CPR card, traffic flagging card and water distribution certification after being hired. Applicants with a valid Group 1 or higher Waste Water Certification valid in Washington State shall be given preference. Click here for a full job description.
