Kalama is a code city managed under the  Mayor/Council form of government, which consists of the Mayor and a five-member City Council, all elected by the voters.  They strive to provide the Kalama citizens with services that make it a pleasant, safe, comfortable, and livable community.  

The City provides its citizens with services for water/sewer, garbage, building permits, community police services, library services, planning services for land use and developments, dog licenses, and street maintenance.  Kalama is a community steeped in history, while working to grow the local economy to provide for a prosperous future.  City Hall is located at 195 N. First St.  City offices are open Monday - Friday from 9am-5pm.
