The City offers three methods for applying and paying for your Business License.

  • If you are going to mail or drop off your payment but would like to fill out the form online, use the form below.

FEE INFORMATION:

Businesses doing business within the city limits of Kalama are required to obtain a City of Kalama Business License.  This license is in addition to any state and/or county license required for the business.

The annual City of Kalama Business License fee is $100 per year.

For new businesses only - Half-year business licenses are available July 1 through December 31 and are prorated to $50.

7-Day License - $30

In-Home Sales - $30

Solicitor License - $30 + number of personnel x $3

Amusement Machines - Number of machines x $30 in addition to regular business license fee.

Cabaret License - $120 per year in addition to regular business license fee.

Penalty - A penalty of $10 (or 10% whichever is higher) if renewal is paid after January 31st of the current year.

ALL BUSINESS LICENSES EXPIRE ON DECEMBER 31 OF THE CURRENT YEAR.
